Scott Rokis
Scott grew up far from topographical variation in the rural North Western Illinois farmlands. That hasn’t limited his drive for getting deep into the mountains, oceans, rivers, anywhere to capture nature’s athletic beauty … no matter the season. Rock climbing, trail running, backcountry skiing, ultra swimming, mountain biking and more all provide a canvas to drive Scott’s passion. Recognizing the importance of safety, Scott volunteers his time with Tahoe Backcountry Ski Patrol and maintains his annual Professional Rescuer CPR certification.
Scott honed his photography skill-set while traveling the world for 13 years working in various Finance and IT leadership positions for General Electric. Yes, unorthodox, but the variety of travels, cultures, personal expeditions have given him a precise understanding of end product delivery, client satisfaction and a relationship building professional personality.
In 2016, Scott said good-bye to the daily grind of a corporate office to pursue his teenage dream of creating his own business. Rarely will you find Scott indoors catching up on the latest shows … rather, you will see him traveling the Northern Hemisphere in his van, while pursuing the very sports he passionately photographs.
